Preston Pouteaux spoke at our citywide prayer breakfast in the spring at the Lamplighter.

At it, he challenged us to think about how "we as Christians might leave the beauty of Jesus in our wake" on our streets, in our neighbourhoods, in our communities.

He asked us hard questions such as:

    • Do I ( or you) , as a pastor, leader  and/or neighbour, move about my neighbourhood actively, attentively, patiently and with a focus to bring life?
    • Do I try to make things more  beautiful?
    • Do I ensure others benefit from the life I lead?
    • Do I start my day intent on leaving it better than I found it?
    • Do I work with others to find creative ways of helping my city thrive?

Many at the breakfast expressed that they wanted to hear more.

SO.... On October 23-24, CCNL is pleased to partner with North Park Community Church as Forge Canada presents workshops Canada - wide featuring Preston Pouteaux , David Fitch, and Karen Wilk, first in London, then Toronto, Edmonton and Vancouver. These events will help us discover more about what it means to step into our neighbourhoods with a renewed sense of purpose and imagination

Day 1 runs from 1:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

Day 2 runs from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

    • Refreshments and snacks will be provided throughout the event
    • Day 1 dinner is on your own but is meant to be a shared meal with those you meet at the event at a restaurant in the neighbourhood
    • Day 2 lunch will be catered
    • Full Two-Day Workshop is $100.00
    Day One Evening-Only is $25.00
