April 21, 2015 - Leadership Lunch

Mental health issues are prevalent in our churches and our communities, yet    often people suffering from mental illness feel stigmatized and ignored by the church. How do we respond better as followers of Jesus in a world where so many are suffering from mental illness? What role does the church have in supporting people at various levels of health and illness?

Dr. David Reist helped us begin thinking about these issues and how to best deal with them within our churches and communities.

We will continue discussing this important issue at our June leadership event.

November 18, 2014 & January 20, 2015 - Leadership Breakfasts

How does a leadership team become great? How do you create an experience and a culture where people are invested in the team at such a high level of expectancy that they cannot wait to see what God is going to do next? What skills and capacities are required to cultivate a compelling team culture? Building cohesive and healthy leadership teams is truly one of the keys to organizational health and to carrying out the mission.

Through his experience of starting, leading, and coaching church leadership teams for 18 years, Pernell Goodyear (Hillside Church, London) shared his insights on some of the practical ways to lead teams to do better.
