Communications Assistant (Part-time)

TWR Canada is looking for a part-time Communications Assistant to join our London Office. This paid

(24 hours/week – with the potential for full-time depending on the skills) position is responsible for supporting the communications activities of TWR Canada. This position will also be responsible for assisting in the coordination of all general TWR Canada events, the oversight of social media and digital marketing campaigns as well as a variety of other administrative tasks which will ensure the mission of TWR Canada is clearly communicated with existing and potential donors, churches and partners. This position will be a resource directly to the communications manager and indirectly to the TWR Canada leadership team, upholding the organization’s mission and vision, positively promoting the organization and adhering to set standards.

Project Management Assistant (Full-time)

TWR Canada is looking for a full-time Project Management Assistant to join our London Office. This paid ministry position will assist the organization in the administrative aspects of the development and implementation of new and ongoing initiatives, as well as provide general administrative support. This position will be a resource to the Ministry Development Manager, upholding the organization’s mission and vision, positively promoting the organization and adhering to set standards.

TWR Canada works globally in 70 countries and in over 50 languages, with our broader partnerships covering 190 countries and 230 languages. Using on air, online and on the ground communications and media, we assist the local church to share the message of salvation among the nations. We focus on using the most appropriate media for the people we are seeking to reach. In some areas, this means we use radio, while in other areas the internet or smartphone apps better serve the audience. In other more remote places, we are able to load content onto micro SD cards and we use portable media players to get the gospel into the hands of those who so desperately need to hear it.

Sales Position at Sound of Faith Broadcasting

Position Summary:

The FaithFM Sales Agent contributes to the station’s success as one of the drivers of revenue through radio advertising sales. The person is responsible to independently and consistently grow and retain new business accounts/clients. The ideal candidate will support the FaithFM mission to inspire, encourage, entertain and uplift, and be intrinsically motivated by knowing that their efforts are making a positive impact on the community. 

The main duties of the Sales Agent include:

  • Establishing and developing long-term business relationships
  • Sourcing, identifying and securing new business opportunities
  • Developing, managing, coordinating and presenting campaign strategies and presentations for prospects and clients   
  • Generating creative win-win solutions for clients that help them achieve their business objectives
  • Closing the sale
  • Following up to ensure client satisfaction
  • Maintaining regular contact with clients to help retain their business, and be responsive to changing client needs
  • Maintaining regular contact with prospects to develop them into customers
  • Delivering accurate call reports and planned revenue numbers to management
  • Acting as a liaison between clients, Traffic (order scheduling), Creative and Production departments to ensure smooth communications and execution

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of sales experience with at least 2 years in media advertising; a proven track record in actively building a client base from the ground up, including prospecting, cold calling, and developing long-term win-win business relationships.
