Communications and Fundraising Assistant (Part-time)

TWR Canada is looking for a part-time Communications and Fundraising Assistant to join our London office.  This paid (16 hours/week) position is responsible for supporting the communications and fundraising activities of TWR Canada. This includes being responsible for updating data and worksheets, sending weekly emails to TWR Canada supporters, editing communications pieces, as well as spending time on the phone talking to a variety of people (churches, supporters and/or partners). This position will help uphold the organization’s mission and vision, positively promote the organization and adhere to set standards. Other specific assignments may be given in addition to these at the communications manager and senior leadership’s discretion.

TWR Canada works globally in 70 countries and in over 50 languages, with our broader partnerships covering 190 countries and 230 languages. Using on air, online and on the ground communications and media, we assist the local church to share the message of salvation among the nations. We focus on using the most appropriate media for the people we are seeking to reach. In some areas, this means we use radio, while in other areas the internet or smartphone apps better serve the audience. In other more remote places, we are able to load content onto micro SD cards and we use portable media players to get the gospel into the hands of those who so desperately need to hear it.

To Apply:

If you are interested in serving with TWR Canada, please submit your resume and cover letter to

Gwen Telford, HR Coordinator at serve@twr.ca

Application deadline is January 31, 2021; only those selected for an interview will be contacted.

Safe Families

Our faith is central to what we do here at Safe Families. Across the nations we are believing for lives to be transformed through the church and our God who can do more than we can ask or imagine. London's Film Industry Strategy could involve your church.

Do you ever see a bride and groom burst out of a church in the movies or on TV and wonder, "Why wasn't that shot at my church?" If not, do you ever wonder, "How can we use our property during the weekdays to help gain additional revenue?"  With London pursuing a film industry strategy, these thoughts are now related.

By submitting your contact information, you can be in London's database of potential film locations. You already rent your property for real weddings, so why not rent it for pretend ones too? You may have other facilities or outdoor amenities that would also be valuable to a production crew.

You will be under no obligation to sign a contract, provide a tour, or even respond to an inquiry. However, being on the list opens doors, assists London to create a broader set of offerings, and your congregation may feel gratified to see their church on the big or small screen.

To participate, send the following email:

To:             mvanholst@london.ca

Subject:     church location

Body:          Name of church

More details will be provided to interested parties as the strategy evolves, and you can opt-out at any time.
