Homelessness: Making a Difference

On Sunday, April 26 at 2 pm, Dundas St. Centre United Church (482 Dundas St.) will be hosting ‘Homelessness: Making a Difference’ in which Dr. Abe Oudshoorn of Western University will be giving a presentation entitled “Long-term Solutions to Homelessness” followed by a talk given by Krista Woodhouse, Outreach & Addictions Mental Health Worker at CMHA’s London Coffee House with special guest Joan Alexander. Freewill offering to the church’s Outreach Program.

Position: Pastoral Care/Discipleship Coordinator position available

Position Details: Oakridge Presbyterian Church is offering a part-time role for a Pastoral Care & Discipleship Ministries Coordinator. 


We seek a permanent part-time Coordinator (16 hrs/wk) starting July 1, 2026. The Coordinator will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively to foster a ‘growth mindset’ both in relation to programmes and in relation to developing skills/capacity in congregants to move OPC toward our Vision. The role involves developing and supporting Pastoral Care, coordinating Adult Ministries volunteers, and encouraging growth within the congregation. Candidates should have relevant experience or training in church pastoral care and adult faith formation, including spiritual and personal growth in the congregation.

London City Street Outreach - Helping the Homeless

London City Street Outreach is a multi church initiative to serve and support the Homeless. Looking for volunteers and donations of food, seasonally appropriate clothing and financial support. We have teams on the street approximately four days a week. Please contact Paul Presant (519 617-2894 or citysolondon@gmail.com) if you are able to help in any way.
